It’s a sad but special week for us, our family matriarch, are grandmother Audrey, suddenly passed away last Wednesday. Today our shop is closed so we can both attend her funeral in Portland, Oregon tomorrow. Although we are all shocked by her unexpected passing, she wouldn’t have scripted it any other way. Out for a bike ride with her friends on a glorious sunny day in Portland, she suffered a stroke and passed away. She wasn’t sick for a day in her life and lived all of them to their fullest. Til her last day she was an avid bike rider, she was an amazing skier and she loved to play tennis. We even attended the first day of the US Open together just last month!

We’re so grateful for the legacy she has left behind and can only hope to live up to. We love being part of such a large close knit family – she’s leaving behind all 6 of her kids, 17 grandkids and 8 great grandkids and counting. We’re sure she’s reunited in heaven with our Grandpa Ken and watching over us together now.

They made a regal couple on their wedding day all the way back on August 16th 1952. Classic never goes out of style!
