THE INDEX

A designer "stolen" from the world of Architecture, Antonio Riva came to the United States from Italy to study Architecture but found his passion in the creation of wedding gowns. He designs his dresses to reflect 'perfection and purity'. His dresses are built from the inside out, much like a building, with three dimensional complex shapes and silhouettes. His gowns are characterized by lightness and movement in complex ways with overlapping and draping use of exquisite silk mikados, organzas and Chantilly lace to construct the perfect dress.
